For a hella good time, Crüe Fest launches its first tour, bringing a pile of hard rock bands to stir up some summer debauchery. Mötley Crüe (including original members Vince Neil, Nikki Sixx, Mick Mars and Tommy Lee) will be there along with Buck Cherry, Papa Roach, Sixx:A.M. and Trapt. The tour, also being called “the loudest show on earth,” is a guarantee for a blaring rock show. But will the fest rise to the level of Ozzfest? We’ll just have to wait and see. $29.50-$95. 5 p.m. Verizon Wireless Amphitheatre, 707 Pavilion Blvd. 704-549-5555. www.livenation.com.
