Music comes easy for 19-year old Jessica Lea Mayfield. From performing with her family’s band One Way Rider at the age of eight to recording her own album at the age of 15, she’s like the energizer bunny, only she keeps going and going to make music. Her debut album, With Blasphemy, So Heartfelt was produced with Dan Auerbach of The Black Keys and in 2007, her vocal chords were featured in the song, “Things Ain’t Like They Used To Be” on The Black Keys’ album, Attack & Release. Be sure to check her out when she visits Charlotte for a performance at Visulite Theatre on June 8. Among The Oak & Ash open. 18 and up. $8-$10. 7 p.m. Visulite Theatre, 1615 Elizabeth Ave. 704-358-9200. www.visulite.com.
