MALICE IN THE Q.C.: Snoop Dogg will perform at Amos’ Southend on May 14. Credit: Jeff HAHNE

Snoop Dogg is in the house. Currently on his “Blazed and Confused Summer Tour 2009” he’s set to bring some malice to Q.C. He’ll later be joined by Slightly Stoopid and Stephen Marley, but not at the show in Charlotte. The opening act is yet to be determined, but it can’t get any weirder than his previous gigs in which he’s shared the stage with acts as shocking as 311. Show him some love when he raises the roof at Amos’ Southend. But for your own safety, don’t jump up onto the stage, unless you just like getting wacked with a mic and beat afterwards. Fact or fiction, one thing’s for sure: Snoop needs his personal space, just like the rest of us. 21 and up. $37.50-$40. 8 p.m. 1423 S. Tryon St. 704-377-6874. www.amossouthend.com.
