Tosco Music Party is a tradition for many Charlotteans. When a variety of acoustic musicians — both professionals and amateurs — unite, they bring new meaning to sharing a stage. At the show musicians come together to do singalongs, and in a way the whole show is more like a jam session than a concert. This year’s party includes bands like the Contagious Blues Band, The Polka Dots, The Stereofidelics and more, as well as solo artists. $8-$15. 7 p.m.-11 p.m. Dale F. Halton Theater (CPCC), 1206 Elizabeth Ave. 704-330-6534. www.toscomusicparty.org or www.carolinatix.org.
