If you’re a recently finished production, between jobs, or otherwise unemployed actor, I sincerely hope you registered for the Metrolina Theatre Association’s 2007 Unified Auditions. These auditions could determine the future of your career in Charlotte (well … OK, not really if you have any drive at all) but, they’re still damned important. Actors, 18 and older, will be afforded the opportunity to audition for several local and regional, professional, semi-professional and community theatre companies, as well as independent theatre producers with one fell swoop. Stage managers, designers and theatre technicians will also be able to peddle their wares at an open house held 6-7:30 p.m. Auditions – 1-6 p.m. Free.
