Tonight, Amos’ Southend transforms into a fetish-absorbed gothland during Single Cell Productions’ Decadence Project: “Valentines Burning” party. The dance floor will transcend in movements, as folks strut their stuff, wave their glow sticks, and strap on their goggles for a mix of industrial, electronic, darkwave beats being spun “right round like a record baby” by DJ Spider and others. In addition, the event includes erotic performances, a “renovated” VIP fetish demonstration area, vendors and appearances by alternative and fetish models and photographers. Though the name is different, this sounds a lot like SCP’s late Purgatory to me, and that’s not a bad thing … not at all. For more information, visit http://singlecell.us. 18 and up. $15-$20 for general admission; $25-$40 for VIP. 8 p.m. Amos’ Southend, 1423 S. Tryon St. 704-377-6874. www.amossouthend.com.
