The devil may wear Prada, but his wife is rockin’ Manolos. There are those that admire a woman in a pair of stilettos. After all, there isn’t another shoe in the world with half the reputation of this small piece of leather bonded to a wooden heel and adorned with elaborate straps to securely and daintily hug the female foot. However, it’s also known for throwing off that same woman’s balance and sending her crashing to the pavement or, if she’s had a long night, leaving behind a nasty reminder of the pains of fashion. To all you that lie in the former school of thought, here’s a party that should fit just right — as we wish all beautiful shoes would. Limelight Events presents Stilettos and Pearls, a fashion-forward bash celebrating the latest in shoes and accessories for summer and fall. Pony-walk over to Gilda Bar & Lounge in NoDa, 2909 N. Davidson to be exact, on Saturday, July 29, starting at 9pm. It’ll cost ya $20 to get in, but that’s a small price to pay for a jump start on fall’s trends. I’m so excited about this event. What girl wouldn’t love to go drink, dance and mingle while checking out the latest in fall fashions. And for that matter what guy wouldnt want to go check out models in high heels and smoke cigars in the lounge? Sounds like a great night to me. Plus i heard Gilda was awsome!! Hope to see everybody out there.
Although this is last minute. I was wondering if there is any way to get in touch with the coordinators of this event to see if any extra models are needed for the show.
