Time to celebrate, my pretties. Children’s Theatre of Charlotte is launching its 60th season in epic MGM style with The Wizard of Oz. Local theater legend Alan Poindexter directs and cross-dresses as the Wicked Witch of the West — and the venerable Jill Bloede cross-dresses right back as The Cowardly Lion.
