Watching TV shows like VH1’s Rock of Love and Charm School, you’d think that all the smart, well-adjusted and sane young women just up and disappeared off the face of the planet. Lucky for us, events like It’s Tea Time have popped up to save the day. Created by stylist Gia Atkinson, It’s Tea Time features music, lectures, and refreshments — and is designed to help educate and empower young girls (and their parents) so that they know how treat themselves and others better.
