RuPaul is considered by many to be the best drag queen ever. And it comes as no surprise, since the star’s rise to fame in the 1990s has only continued to shoot upward. It’s even spawned RuPaul’s Drag Race, a reality TV show, much like America’s Next Top Model, but bent on finding the next best bootie-ful thang in drag. RuPaul’s most recent album is titled Champion and features singles like “Cover Girl” and “Jealous of my Boogie.” Enough said, now, on your mark … get set … go … to see RuPaul perform at Alive. $20-$40. 4 p.m. Alive, 2909 N. Davidson St. www.matthewscomedyzone.com.
