Today during Chamber Music at St. Peter’s, a violin shares dialogue with a cello. The two stringed instruments are at the center of a First Tuesday “Masterful Conversation” conceived in a work by Zoltan Kodály entitled Duo for Violin and Cello, Opus 7. The hands giving this “conversation” it’s bite belong to Jennifer Curtis on violin and Susan Babini on cello. The Noon Concert begins at 12:10 p.m. and the AfterWork Concert starts at 5:30 p.m. A reception will follow the evening performance at Hodges Taylor Gallery. Concert and reception are free to the public. St. Peter’s Episcopal Church is located at the corner of 7th and N. Tryon Streets. Call 704-335-0009 or check out www.chambermusicatstpeters.org.
