The show revolves around a group of fans who gather outside of the apartment where Lennon was shot to pay tribute. Take cover as stories are shared and Lennon’s legacy is remembered in this show by playwright James McClure. $20-$25. Dec. 9, 8 p.m.; Dec. 10, 8 p.m. (VIP party); Dec. 11, 8 p.m.; Dec. 15-18, 8 p.m. Carolina Actors Studio Theatre, 1118 Clement Ave. 704-455-8542. www.nccast.com.
