Who wouldn’t want to be in the audience of a real, live sitcom? Well, if you just got done screaming “Me, me, me,” then Collaborative Arts (The Charlotte Shakespeare Festival) has got your fix with its newest show Sitcoms Live! Directors James Yost, Meghan Lowther, and Patrick Tansor will present a different TV sitcom episode to be performed live each night at Duke Energy Theatre. The performances will imitate those popular in the ’60s, ’70s, ’80s and ’90s. And, just think, you didn’t even have to dust off the time machine. In addition, commercial breaks will feature the Charlotte sketch comedy troupe, Robot Johnson. Continues through Sept. 27. $15. Thur.-Sat., 8 p.m.; Sept. 21, 2:30 p.m. Duke Energy Theatre, 345 North College St. 704-372-1000. www.collaborativeartstheatre.com.
