Twelve Angry Men opens at Belk Theater. When twelve men get called for jury duty they probably don’t realize just what they are getting into. Once they witness the murder trial facts blur and the truth becomes a mystery, as they remain contained in a room. The men argue with one another (which probably doesn’t help at all) and in the end they are forced to take a hard look at their inner selves. 8 p.m. $20-$54. Runs through June 1. Belk Theater, 130 N. Tryon St. 704-372-1000. www.blumenthalcenter.org.
