Once the lyrics and music from Mamma Mia get into your head, it’ll most likely be a while before they get out. Listen … and you can hear it now: “Mamma mia! Here I go again! My my, how can I resist you!” Sorry … had to do it. These lyrics, from the hit musical about a daughter longing to know the identity of her father before she weds, are about as contagious as the plot. Needless to say, all of the possible fatherly candidates show up on the Greek island where they once had love affairs with girls mother — a mother who is about to get the shock of her life when she discovers their presence. You gotta love mother-daughter relationships. $30 and up. July 28-30, 7:30 p.m.; July 31, 8 p.m.; July 1, 2 p.m. and 8 p.m.; July 2, 2 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. Belk Theater, 130 N. Tryon St. 704-372-1000. www.blumenthalcenter.org.
