It’s “Hail Mary’s” and hoopla, as neighborhood folks (each with their own issues) gather in a funeral home, only to find the body of the recently deceased and beloved Sister Rose, whom they have come to honor, is missing. Carolina Actors Studio Theatre presents Our Lady of 121st Street, a dark comedy by playwright Stephen Adly Guirgis, Jan. 7-Feb. 6. Let’s just hope the body is found before too much sin erupts in the atmosphere and someone in the room decides to join the Sister to rest in … peace? $20-$25. Jan. 7-9, 8 p.m.; Jan. 14-16, 8 p.m.; Jan. 21-23, 8 p.m.; Jan. 27-30; Feb. 3-6. Carolina Actors Studio Theatre, 1118 Clement Ave. 704-455-8542. www.nccast.com.
