Theatre Charlotte’s latest production comes just in time for Halloween. The Woman In Black, adapted by Stephen Mallatratt from Susan Hill’s book, is a haunting act that tells a man’s story of a ghost he once saw. But this ghost, known to spook the area where its baby was once killed, isn’t one you want to see (You know, like Casper?). Legend has it that those who see her will die shortly afterwards. He’d better hurry up and tell the story then, huh? Show is recommended for ages 13 and up. Continues through Nov. 8. $7-$24. Oct. 29, 7:30 p.m.; Oct. 30, 7 p.m. and 11 p.m.; Oct. 31, 8 p.m.; Nov. 1, 2:30 p.m.; Nov. 4, 7:30 p.m.; Nov. 5, 7:30 p.m.; Nov. 6, 8 p.m.; Nov. 7, 8 p.m.; Nov. 8, 2:30 p.m. Theatre Charlotte, 501 Queens Rd. 704-376-3777. www.theatrecharlotte.org.
