In Mel Brooks’ The Producers two very different men become friends as they develop a plan to get rich by conning people into seeing a flop of a show. “Springtime for Hitler: A Gay Romp with Adolf and Eva at Berchtesgade” is the script they choose to carry out their plan. “I’m hysterical! I’m having hysterics! I’m hysterical! I can’t stop when I get like this. I can’t stop. I’m hysterical. Oh my god.” This line from the original Producers film says it all about this uproarious rollercoaster ride of a show. Through July 25. $15-$21. July 19, 2:30 p.m.; July 23, 7 p.m.; July 24-25, 8 p.m. CPCC’s Halton Theater, 1206 Elizabeth Ave. 704-330-6534. http://arts.cpcc.edu.
