Elder Gallery is paying tribute to works created specifically by leading ladies in contemporary art from across the United States. Eleven women — Martha Armstrong, Cheryl Chapman, Cora Cohen, Mary Erickson, Claire Miller Hopkins, Cathryn Miles, Stephanie Neely, Jane Allen Nodine, Anne Raymond (see her pictured painting “Quiet”), Betty Anglin Smith and Angelita Surmon — will showcase their newest pieces in the exhibit. Opening reception on Oct. 7, from 6 p.m.-8 p.m.
