Take the short jaunt to Rock Hill, S.C., to witness Edmund Lewandowski — Precisionism and Beyond. Hailing from Milwaukee, the late painter (who served as chair of Winthrop’s Department of Art and Design from 1973-84) endeavored to “illustrate the beauty and energy of American industrialism.” The show runs Sept 6-Dec. 9.
