In Mexican tradition, El Dia de los Muertos (Day of the Dead) is a time to remember deceased loved ones, but it’s also somewhat of a celebration of life. In NoDa, Pura Vida is decorating with an exhibit of sugar skulls as well as an altar. Next door at Baku Gallery, art by local artists also pays homage to the spirited.
