Ciel Gallery and Mosaic Studio is currently displaying a “collection of messages in square format” in its newest showcase. The exhibit emphasizes the creativity and detail of decorative art in mosaic form. It also features works of various styles by a number of different artists — including the pictured piece “Progression,” by San Diego-based artist Heather Smith. A reception for the exhibit will go down on Friday, Dec. 3, from 6 p.m.-9 p.m.
