“I’m interested in memory and how we use it to create the stories of ourselves — our personal myths,” shares artist Johan Hagaman. In his current exhibit at Hidell Brooks Gallery — opening with a reception on Jan. 6, from 6 p.m.-8 p.m. — mixed media works (like the pictured piece, titled “Believes”) line the walls. Another new exhibit, Winding Rivers, features art by Brad Aldridge.
