Dear Karma Cleanser:

Can a good dream lead to bad karma? I keep having this same dream. I’m visiting my friend “Jamar” in his new house. I go to sleep. When I wake up, his new girlfriend is in my bed, trying to get me to have sex with her. I always wake up before we get naked. It’s messing up my shit, this dream. Jamar wants to hang out, but I tell him I’m busy. Our friendship has started to suffer. In real life, I do think his girlfriend is hot. But I’m not going to sleep with her. Help me fast, man. – Worried and horny

We’re curious how you can call this a “good” dream: Hot chick comes on to you and never even gives you a peek at the goodies? Maybe the dream isn’t about sex at all, but is more about your changing relationship with Jamar. He’s got a new woman and new digs, and you’re wondering where you fit in. Your karma’s fine. Just don’t go and ruin it by telling Jamar you’ve been fantasizing about his honey.

Dear Karma Cleanser:

I am convinced my workplace is filled with charlatans and liars. A man who works in the cube next to me has taken to bribing me — he thinks I’m going to be promoted over him and wants to remain in my good favor. The next cube over, there’s a woman who spends the day working another job altogether. Her supervisor is none the wiser. My own supervisor only reports to work two days out of every five. I look back over my twisted career path and ask myself how I ended up here. Should I quit now or just resign myself that it’s this way everywhere? –Office Space Cadet

Gosh, a workplace full of losers and lazy liars? Now that’s original. Welcome to corporate America. Don’t ask what you did to deserve this, ask what you’re doing to get out of this fun-house ride.
