The Architecture + Film series continues at Bechtler Museum of Modern Art with a screening of the Spanish (with English subtitles) documentary, Havana: The New Art of Making Ruins this Friday (Nov. 18). The film focuses on a cluster of Cuban citizens who are devoted to dwelling in structures that were once magnificent and are now on the verge of collapse. A short presentation by José Gámez, an associate professor of architecture and urban design at UNC Charlotte, follows the screening.
