This time last week we were telling you to avoid Lake Norman because of the poo in the water; today it’s the same story but a different lake. Our advice: Stick to swimming pools.
The really bad news: Concord Lake supplies drinking water. Yuck.
City officials did not specify where the overflow took place, but they said it is estimated that up to 6,000 gallons of sewage might have spilled into the basin that flows into Concord Lake, a water source for the area.
