Iowa City Police said a 25-year-old man was charged with drunken driving early Sunday morning after a police officer observed him driving with his highlights off. While riding in the squad car with the police offer, the the man offered the officer a free sandwich if he allowed him to simply go home. The officer declined the man’s officer.
Well, obviously the officer declined. Come on, a sandwich? Doesn’t he know cops like donuts? Better luck next time.
