
All right, people. It’s time to get real about how we fund and manage a lot of important services in our area, many of which have already endured severe budgetary cuts. But, don’t feel helpless. Your input is important.
One place you can start is with the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Library’s online survey. Library officials say it will only take you five minutes, but I completed it last night and it only took about two. You can spare two minutes to help our policy makers figure out how to allocate money and staff for one of our area’s most precious resources, right?

There is no apostrophe in “civics”. Perhaps if you’d been homeschooled rather than gov-indoctrinated you’d know that.
Hey, good to see ol’ Len is his usual happy-go-lucky self! But you do realize, you reactionary grouch, that this means all your posts will be thoroughly vetted for spelling mistakes, right? Can’t wait.
Plus, as far as homeschooling goes, not everyone has a lazy-assed mom who won’t work for a living.
Uh, Len dear, there is also the matter of the period going inside the quotation marks. Therefore, you should have written “civics.” instead of “civics”.
So not only was your mom a lazy ass as Rick stated, but apparently your homeschooling didn’t help you out as much as you were led to believe.
