Starting Aug. 22, you can spend your mornings with famed Creative Loafing columnist/blogger Brittney Cason. Cason and Otis, from Kiss 95.1′s The O-Show, will take over the morning slot (5:30 a.m.-10 a.m.) at the station. In May, the Ace & TJ Show ended on WNKS after 13 years.
“I have small feet and big shoes to fill,” Cason said.
Otis, familiar with Cason’s work in Creative Loafing, drafted her to be his co-host. The 11-year radio veteran said their show will be young and hip. “We are Charlotte,” he said. “We’re up-and-coming professionals. It’s going to be reality radio.”
“It’s going to be a fun and upbeat morning show,” Cason said. “Otis and I have a great dynamic. We’re very funny — but we’re also very real.”
