Sean Hannity of FoxNews (hes the squinty one) is being accused by conservative blogger Debbie Schlussel of unethical fundraising practices and fraudulent claims in connection with his Freedom Alliance charity. The group puts on Freedom Concerts with the stated goal of raising money for college for children of fallen soldiers and care for wounded veterans. Schlussel says those concerts are a scam.
In fact, writes Schlussel, “… in two recent years, less than 7% and 4%, respectively, of the money raised by Freedom Alliance went to these causes, while millions of dollars went to expenses, including consultants and apparently to ferret the Hannity posse of family and friends in high style. It will be interesting to see how Hannity tries to squirm out of this one; Im especially looking forward to how his usual criticism of moral relativism comes into play.

I guess anyone can say or claim anything they want. What have you done in your life to help others? What a loser you are.
It was only a matter of time before Hannity tripped himself up. If the accusations are correct he kept 93%-96% away from the kids of fallen soldiers and spent that on what, himself??? Well I, for one am not surprised.
Put your money where your mouth is: Show me proof
If you bozos would go to the trouble to click on the link to the woman’s story, you’d have the fucking proof. What’s wrong with you neanderthals?
I wonder if you would admit to the crime if you read it on my web site.
There are plenty of sites that still report that Bush had the twin towers knocked down. This is why you cannot just report on what some blogger says. Responible people need to look into these things and then report on them.
Thanks
As for Hanity, notice how nothing has been said in the mainstream media about this? They would jump at the chance to attack Hannity so why have they not? Here is a portion of the response from the Charity organization Freedom Alliance.
”
1. The blog posting accuses our friend Sean Hannity of personally benefiting from Freedom Alliance. This is FALSE….
2. Sean Hannity has contributed $100,000 to the Wounded Warriors Foundation, over $200,000 to the Freedom Alliance, and over tens of thousands of dollars to other military charities and individuals. We only make this information public because of the outrageous slander against him….
3. The blog posting accuses Freedom Alliance of spending less than 20% of money raised on program activities. This is FALSE….
5. The blog posting accuses Freedom Alliance of spending money intended for student scholarships on other expenses. This is FALSE. Freedom Alliance has distributed $3.4 million in Scholarships and created a Scholarship Trust Fund with the additional money that we have raised for that program. That fund now contains $15 million, over $10 million of which has been raised by Hannity and the concerts.
Our scholarship program is managed with the understanding that it will be needed for at least the next 20 years as there are children who will ultimately receive a scholarship who are now only a few years old. As indicated on our Federal Form 990, these funds are restricted and used only for future scholarships….”
When having scholarships for children, it would make sense that the fund would not be able to release money until the kids actually go to college now wouldnt it?

I can’t stand this fool and no damned wonder someone like Frank Griffin (and all the other screennames he uses to conversate with himself) would come to his defense. Hannity is nothing but a devil just like the scum that he runs his mouth about every single night. I whish they would hang him high from the gallows right in front of the White House. Maybe that will teach all the racists a really nice lesson. Pity that Frank Griffin still trys to defend that bastard Bush. There’s more proof here than we’ll ever need to know that Hannity is guilty as living Hell. Thank you John Grooms and no need to argues with this Frank Griffin manchild.
Thank the living God that health care reform passed and those republican devils were silenced. It will be the law of the land, so there’s not one damned thing any of you can do about it. So, like the election, you just have to sit your ass down and shut up. You lost, AGAIN.
Thank God Almighty. President Obama and our elected officials came through with their promise. The lying trash in the republican party will be held accountable for their elitist mentaility and for shouting obscenities towards fellow Congressmen!
Sean Hannity is nothing but a lying bully. Of course you’ll see the psychotics like Frank Griffin talking the same gibberish to defend him.
You’re right Rosa. Very happy about Health Care Reform. They can spin all the lies they want to, try to trick people into believe things that are nothing but propaganda, but in the end, it won’t do any good.
Hannity has been throwing freedom concerts? What freedom is he talking about? He means freedom from Democratic socialism because he was all smiles (but still squinty) when Republican socialism was all the rage.
He’s a typical corporate socialist.
Those poor soldiers who died for a lie, I feel for their families.
it appears to me to be a natural progression of things. I think back the ’03 expansion of Medicare. There was huge opposition and lots of GOP dirty tricks to get it passed. Medicare is just like this plan. Everyone is forced to pay for it through their taxes. That’s the premium. So you are forced to pay for it but may not be able to use it. This time around most everyone can now take advantage of it.
How come Republican socialists and Democrat socialists never want to vote for each others’ socialism? Weird. Now the GOP is unified against the Dems. No way will they put forth any kind of true free market reform though. This is for votes.
Financial collapse is the only way this stops.
What a damn fool. Don’t take this off topic because you’re mad that your hellions lost another one!
– From John Grooms’ article:
Now, back to those conservative firebrands who say they will run in November on a platform of repealing health care reform. They dont seem to realize it yet, but if the GOP honestly expects to be successful by promising to take away the benefits listed above plus, the rest of the package that takes effect in 2014 they have a big, big date with the Brick Wall of Reality headed their way. Try to name anyone, or any party, that has won elections by promising to take away benefits. You cant. Im not saying the GOP cant pick up seats in Congress, but it will have to come from emphasizing the lack of jobs. If they pitch an ongoing fit of pissing and moaning about their big loss on the health care issue, it will only serve to make them seem even more tunnel-visioned and mean-spirited than they already do.
