Columnist Dan Savage (author of your favorite nationally syndicated sex column Savage Love that we run in CL) is speaking out on Proposition 8, which amended the California state constitution to restrict the definition of marriage to a union between a man and a woman.

In related news, Savage and others are calling for a boycott on the state of Utah (the passage of the same-sex marriage ban in California was heavily funded by the Mormon Church). In response, the Salt Lake City Weekly has stopped running Savage’s sex advice column.
