Pastor Charles L. Worley, of Providence Baptist Church in Maiden, wants to enclose “homosexuals, queers and lesbians” in an electric fence and leave them there to starve. Well, maybe “drop some food” for the lesbians. According to towerload.com:
“I figured a way to get rid of all the lesbians and queers,” he says in his sermon, delivered on May 13. “Build a great, big, large fence – 150 or 100 mile long – put all the lesbians in there… Do the same thing for the queers and the homosexuals and have that fence electrified so they can’t get out… And you know what, in a few years, they’ll die.”
I don’t know about y’all, but I’m scared of the varmint Tuesday’s going to drag in.

When I hear of schemes like the one Worley suggests, it makes me laugh.
Let’s assume he and his followers could perform an initial round-up all the “lesbians and queers”, and dump each in their electrified holding pens until they died.
Meantime, every 4 to 6 children out of each 100 those good ol’ heterosexual folk keep squirting out of their loins will be homosexuals.
But you know what will be truly delicious about his plan? Watching the rest of the population deal with life without homosexuals.
But alas, none of this deliciousness would ever play out. Anyone who has ever felt the wrath of an angry homosexual knows they are very good at extracting revenge.
So grow a set and do your worst, Worley.
Hmmm….. reminds me of a plan undertaken by Germany about 70 years ago.
Is he that desperate to gain attention that he resorted to this kind of rant? Does he actually know what century he is in? He needs help! It bothers me that the people he was preaching to are saying “amen” to it! Hmmm…I am reminded of that film…Red State?
Hitler was not capable of committing the atrocities that he inspired. Thousands of people had to implement his bizarre commands. The danger is not demented people like Rev. Worley, it is the lemmings who sit there and listen to him rant.
This man needs to feel the wrath of a flaming staff of life giving him the resurrection from within.

I despise what Worley is saying and anyone who applauds him needs their head examined. But I don’t remember CL covering the words of the good Rev Wright in such detail. Hate speech from the pulpit comes from both sides of the aisle.
