State regulators and Duke Energy say to move 100 million tons of coal ash could cost almost $10 million. “Paul Newton, Duke’s North Carolina president of operations, told lawmakers that 20-foot trucks, leaving the site every three minutes, working 12 hours a day, could not quickly remove it. ‘The Dan River site would take about two years to be excavated and remove – and that is our smallest site,’ Newton said. ‘At our Marshall plant near Charlotte, at that pace, excavation would take nearly 30 years.'”
The FDA has proposed regulations on those plastic or metal tubes called e-cigs that no one really knows anything about. The federal government not only wants to ban the sale to minors – makes sense – but it also wants to reserve the right to create new rules on the products later.

Two weeks ago I had a terrible experience with an employee at the McKee Road Store, this was the third time this same man Eric has been rude to me and/or an employee of mine all female. He raised his hand to me this time and walked away. This was caught on store surveillance and happened while a group of district mangers were there working on the height of the new salad bar.I was checking on a special order not a donation I spend thousands of dollars a month in that store, I walk out in shock that his behavior was allowed. I received a call from a manage who offered to meet me in the parking lot to get what I had ordered, really he was wrong and I had to sneak into a parking lot to get my special order. I went in to the store later that week to find out what happened to this Eric and was told he had been disciplined, that it was against policy to get an apology from him . I was uncomfortable in the store was not important I could try to shop around his schedule. I called Headquarters , spoken with Justin in customer service who explained he knew one of the managers and would get back in touch with me. Nothing happened, DJ store manager stated the he believed it was settled, in my opinion when a man raised a hand to a woman, hand gesture aside and no eye contact or words are spoken that is unacceptable . I thought that something would be done about this, nothing has. When I told them I would go public they accused me of trying to threaten or extort them. I have asked for nothing for myself, they keep asking what I want to feel whole. I simple apology but that is not going to happen. I asked for a 500.00 donation be made to a Local Shelter I volunteer with they said it was never going to happen.Go with me Extortion usually involves personal gain, not a donation to a charity. Now to add insult to injury they never did get me the special order
