Gingrich: ‘Family Values Porn Fan of the Year’

You probably heard about Newt Gingrich’s advocacy group, American Solutions for Winning the Future, handing out “awards” to entrepreneurs without doing enough prior research. ASWF gave an “Entrepreneur of the Year” award to a strip club in Dallas, TX, but then took it back when told of the company’s, er, specialty. ASWF also sent the same award to Pink Visual, a porn distribution company in California, and, again, rescinded the award when they found out who they’d given it to. Now, one of CL’s sister papers, the Washington City Paper, reports that Allison Vivas, the owner of Pink Visual, has created an award for ol’ Newt: the “Family Values Porn Fan of the Year, 2009.” It looks snazzy, and would look great on Gingrich’s office wall. Vivas , though, says Newt may not get the chance to hang up his new award: “Of course, we’ll send a letter rescinding the award after he receives it.”
