Quick question: where do some Congressional Republicans get their nerve? Specifically, where does North Carolina Congressman Patrick McHenry get his? Yesterday, Rep. Alan Grayson, a Democrat from Florida, said the Republican alternative health care proposals amounted to telling Americans, Dont get sick, and if they do get sick, to die quickly. OK, hes over the line, but considering the incredible number of lies we heard all summer from the GOP about killing granny and death panels and so forth, Graysons comments are pretty small potatoes.
But oh, no! The Republicans wont stand for it! Theyre outraged! Theyre acting as if Grayson peed on their mamas graves or something, and no one is more outraged than good old Patrick McHenry, one of his partys designated hatchet men, who is demanding that House Speaker Nancy Pelosi officially rebuke Grayson. Others are demanding that Grayson apologize for his lack of decorum (after they defended Rep. Joe Wilson for yelling at the president of the United States, for crying out loud).
As ThinkProgress points out, these guys have more nerve than sense, and they offer a list of outrageous and absurd, death-invoking claims Congressional Republicans have made in Congress about Democrats health care reform proposals. Our favorite, of course, is famously wacked-out Rep. Virginia Foxx part of the N.C. GOPs Three Congressional Stooges, along with McHenry and Myrick who claimed Dem proposals would mean people would be put to death by their government. Pretty soon, when you look up the word crybaby in the dictionary, youll see a picture of the GOP elephant symbol.

yep there’s been alot of misinformation from both sides.
Meanwhile they’re all in some backroom working out side deals.
Grooms has a strange way of remembering history that just happened a few weeks ago even.
The republicans advised Joe to say he was sorry to Obama and Joe did. The deomocrats of course wanted more blood so they wanted him to kiss thier feet. The republicans did defend joe for CORRECTLY calling OBAMA a LIAR.
As for Grayson he should say he is sorry because he is a LIAR just like Obama. Republicans tend to protect life, unlike the Democrats.
Frank Griffin says, “Republicans tend to protect life, unlike the Democrats.”
False.
The Right supports the rights of the unborn.
Once you’re out of the womb, you’re on your own.
The Right to Life ceases at birth.
Wrong Mr Bigguy did you get your brain out of a box of cracker jacks or something?
“The Right supports the rights of the unborn.
Once youre out of the womb, youre on your own.
The Right to Life ceases at birth.”
Here is the real deal.
The Right supports the rights of the unborn.
Once youre out of the womb, the right supports temporary government help for the helpless and then allows for the community to assist after that. Its called teaching someone to fish, instead of handing them a fish each day. Too much government welfare destroys the lives and families of too many americans. Look at the African American community and how it has fallen apart.
The right to life is better under the republicans. The democrat path leads to unhappiness and dependance, which is not much of a life. Republicans defend life, unless you are a killer of course.
