During the current financially difficult times, no one wants to spend money, but the one thing we still must spend money on is food. To save some dough though, invest $1.50 in a Sunday newspaper and clip coupons from the weekly circulars. When coupons are doubled, and sometimes TRIPLED (Harris Teeter offers triple coupon weekends a few times a year), they can really add up to some big savings. I am a walking poster child of this tip. Last week at Harris Teeter’s triple coupon weekend, I saved $46 on a $94 grocery tab. That’s 50% off!
