Good work, Gubna. You’re right, our state doesn’t have the money to waste on ridiculous partisan bullshit.

Gov. Bev Perdue on Saturday vetoed the bill that would opt North Carolina out of the federal health-care overhaul, challenging members of the Republican-controlled General Assembly who had made the legislation one of their top priorities this session.

In her veto message, Perdue called it “an ill-conceived piece of legislation that’s not good for the people of North Carolina.”

  1. What was more partisan than the Health Care bill they’re trying to opt out of? BTW, this HCR isn’t gonna save this state any money.

  2. agreed! how does this veto help our state at all? I think her posting a youtube video of this is also a very good use of our tax dollars
