In an effort to position himself as a regular ol’ Egyptian guy — rather than a pampered, out of touch dictator — Pres. Hasni Mubarak is now appearing in a new commercial on Egyptian television, emphasizing that he is no different from anyone else in his nation. Mubarak’s media advisers obviously thought highly enough of Christine O’Donnell’s commercials to imitate them, even though the perky Tea Partier lost in a big way in the Connecticut U.S. Senate race. We couldn’t find the entire Mubarak commercial, but this screen capture image gives you the idea.

  1. The ouster of the Mubarak regime promises a fresh age for Northeastern Africa. With the transference of leadership ushers in an unstalbe time of concealed consequences, and many hazards still unseen. We desire for the best for Egypt’s people and that their choices will not only be the correct ones for their own country, but for the rest of the world.
