Sources have reported that Deputy Ben Fields will be fired from the Richland County Sheriff’s Office following the brutal arrest of a female student at Spring Valley High School. The incident was caught on video by students and circulated around the web, leading to an investigation by the RCSO. No charges will come from the RCSO, but would have to come from state or federal agencies. The FBI is currently investigating the incident, as well. UPDATE (12:15): During the press conference, Lott did announce that Fields has been terminated from the RCSO.

The series continues tonight just after 8 p.m.
