The time has finally come to vote and end all this political bickering. What’s that? This is only the beginning of more partisan bickering that will last for another eight months? Police in Concord are investigating a triple shooting that killed one man last night. Police were reportedly called to Griffin Circle just before 8 p.m. last night and found Columbus Simmons suffering from a gunshot wound. He later died at the hospital. Further investigation found that two others were shot during a large fight. No names of suspects or the living victims have yet been released. (Fox46 Staff) 

Two people have been displaced by a house fire in south Charlotte last night that took 35 firefighters to extinguish. The fire happened on Darby Chase Drive at around 9 p.m. last night. No injuries were reported and it’s unclear what started the fire. (WBTV Web Staff) 

Investigators believe a couple who was found dead in their home yesterday was murdered. A family member reportedly found Deidra Ramseur and Mark Wilson dead in their home in Claremont after not hearing from them over the weekend. Police announced this morning that they are investigating the incident as a homicide. (Dave Faherty & Brittney Johnson, WSOC)
