Breaking up is hard to do, but breaking a bone will seriously fuck up your band’s momentum. The Charlotte duo is set to make its long-awaited return to the stage – this is the band’s first live performance since November 2012. Well, that’s what happens when your drummer breaks his wrist. One can only imagine the built-up frustrations from eight silent months that are going to be hammered out at this show. The band’s droning, sludgy instrumentals pave the way for occasional screamed vocals. This isn’t a DJ’s version of drum and bass. With Chow Tiger, 2013 Wolves, Greevace. $5-$7.
