Bill Clinton in Charlotte on Friday: Two days after Democratic presidential primary contender Barack Obama spoke to a crowd in the Grady Cole Center, Bill Clinton is coming to Charlotte on March 21 to speak. Clinton will be speaking on behalf of his wife Hillary Clinton , Democratic presidential primary candidate, to a group of veterans of the VFW Post 1160 on Central Avenue.

Borders book stores may be sold: Borders CEO George Jones said retailers have been experiencing hardships due to an unstable economic environment. The No. 2 bookseller, Borders, is no exception to these hardships. The made the announcement on March 20 they may be up for sale. Online companies and Wal-Mart Stores Inc. have been dipping into Borders market shares. Their revenue has fell from $1.37 billion to $1.35 billion.

Apple considering free access to iTunes: The long standing rumor that Apple may make iTune downloads free may now have some air of truth. Apple Inc. is developing a plan that will give the public unlimited free access to the music library. This does not come without a catch — consumers will have to pay more for iPods and iPhones that play and store these iTunes.
