Bill Clinton in Charlotte on Friday: Two days after Democratic presidential primary contender Barack Obama spoke to a crowd in the Grady Cole Center, Bill Clinton is coming to Charlotte on March 21 to speak. Clinton will be speaking on behalf of his wife Hillary Clinton , Democratic presidential primary candidate, to a group of veterans of the VFW Post 1160 on Central Avenue.

Borders book stores may be sold: Borders CEO George Jones said retailers have been experiencing hardships due to an unstable economic environment. The No. 2 bookseller, Borders, is no exception to these hardships. The made the announcement on March 20 they may be up for sale.
