The best thing about being an adult with a bicycle is that you can ride that thing whenever the hell you want. And that’s what some folks in Plaza Midwood are doing. Introducing the Plaza Midwood Tuesday Night Ride, meeting up at Common Market every week. According to one Facebook poster, last night there were approximately 80 cyclists out last night. Great Pictures and Thank You! Been riding with PMTNR for about 2 months now, always an enjoyable ride. This is more a leisure type ride for beginners and up, no one is left behind. There are marked/identified guides (volunteers) at the front, middle and end of the pack. Pamela typically shoots for 15 miles on Charlotte’s streets and neighborhood roads. This ride does encourage people to be aware of bike safely and good road riding behaviors.
Don’t think I have seen at anyone time, where someone had a bike issue on the ride, and at least 8 people stopped and offered to help. Check with Pamela Murray at PMTNR on Facebook for more details, times, etc…
Get out and Ride!
