Unity Through Community, an LGBT welcome party for the DNC, took place last night at the NC Dance Theatre. The message the organizers wanted to send? “Loving acceptance is the norm and there is no place for hate in our state.” Oh, and that the LGBT community and its supporters know how to have a good time.
