R&B singer Anthony Hamilton was arrested in Mecklenburg County over the weekend and charged with a DWI, according to TMZ.com.

Cops pulled Anthony over around 2:30 am in Mecklenburg County, North Carolina for speeding – but then suspected he was under the influence and arrested him on charges of driving while impaired.
A Charlotte native and South Meck High School grad, Hamilton rose to prominence with his 2003 platinum album, Coming from Where I’m From.
