The latest press release from The Discovery Place stated that the Roman Army Festival, originally scheduled for Sept. 5-7 at Fourth Ward Park has been canceled “due to the forecast of severe weather conditions.”  These conditions have prevented reenactors from traveling to Charlotte for the festival.
