Have you ever walked the streets of Uptown bright and early on a Sunday morning? If not, I strongly urge you not to; it’s pretty disgusting. I was walking up 5th Street near Buckhead Saloon, and the sidewalk was a mess. Beer bottle caps, food, trash, even a nice display of evidence that someone couldn’t tolerate their alcohol. Yuck.

Let’s give a round of applause to the people who have to clean up our drunken Saturday night messes in Uptown.

  1. Let’s not forget that the people people leaving these litter fests and messing up the Uptown environment are the same people who all have Obama bumper stickers on the back of their car, most of them because he’s going to fight global warming. A messy environment is horrible when hearing a national figure talk about it, but to actually not destroy the Earth by keeping your trash off of it is too much for these people to do. Nothing like a city full of hypocrites, ahem, I mean liberals.

  2. People who leave their trash around are inconsiderate regardless of political beliefs. Trying to tie politics to the problem of people not picking up after themselves is another reason people are tired of Republicans like yourself.
