In his movie, An Inconvenient Truth, Al Gore mentioned almost incidentally that the fossil fuel interests had set out to create a program of disinformation about global warming, patterned on the tobacco industry’s propaganda about the hazards of smoking. Big Tobacco’s campaign of lies went on for decades, with the result that public opinion and the law were paralyzed from taking action to protect the public from cigarette smoke.
The same tactics and even some of the same personalities are now in the employ of ExxonMobile, which has been conducting its campaign of disinformation since the 1990s. The Union of Concerned Scientists have unmasked the scheme with their “ExxonMobile Report: Smoke, Mirrors and Hot Air.” It is a devastating 64-page critique of corporate cynicism and irresponsibility and should be required reading for every member of Congress. And the next time you hear somebody spouting the ExxonMobile line on global warming, tell them you know where they got it and it’s bullshit! The irony, of course, is that they will not know the source of their own bullshit. They’ll be mouthing the Limbaugh-Hannity-Beck-Ingraham line and assume that it is sacred writ. Don’t let them get away with it.

Anyone else find it funny that once the temperatures stopped going up, even as millions of tons of carbon dioxide were released into the air, that “global warming” became “climate change”? And has anyone looked into Generation Investment Management, Gore’s very own green company that stands to make a mint from the global warming myth?

And now that we’ve debunked the myth of global warming let’s tackle the whole “thunder and lightning” hoax. The liberals would have you believe that thunder is caused by a shock wave in the air due to the sudden thermal expansion of the plasma in the lightning channel.
But the TRUTH is, thunder is caused by small Heavenly beings bowling above the clouds.

Of course I noticed “that” instead of “thank.” On this page I also noticed you used “lets” instead of “let’s” and “hows” instead of “how’s” as well as the appalling lack of commas everywhere. And this is by far one of your cleaner pages! But if we well-educated liberals were to correct all the mistakes made by all the illiterate conservatives/libertarians (same thing in your case), it’d be a full-time job!
As for your claim that “Liberals can’t stand the possibility that God made man,” that’s just more right-wing propaganda spread by people who can’t reason for themselves. Like most people I know, I’m a liberal AND a Christian, and I believe that God and science coexist harmoniously and are not (as many on the right believe) constantly at war with one another.

My fellow readers, I think in 2010 we should all resolve to turn the other cheek instead of bashing Frank Griffin no matter how hateful he turns towards everyone else. I noticed that in the last few hours on New Years Eve when the rest of us were spending time with family and friends, Frank was spending his time writing several posts on this blog. This tells me that while the rest of us were with loved ones he was all alone and bitter, friendless and with a family that doesn’t want him around. Such a man should be pitied, not hated.
