There’s a reason the counterculture favorite 2001: A Space Odyssey was released back in 1968 with the tagline “The Ultimate Trip.” I can’t promise any trippy drugs will be on hand, but I can guarantee a great motion picture experience will potentially take place at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, June 20, at AMC Concord Mills.

I say “potentially” because the folks at The Film Find are trying to set up a screening of this Stanley Kubrick masterpiece through Tugg, which can only solidify showings if enough people reserve tickets. (For clear details on how Tugg works, go here.) As of this moment, 69 more people are needed to make this screening happen; the deadline for reserving tickets is June 13.

Admission is $10. The event will also include door prizes and a possible post-screening Q&A session. For more details, or to reserve seats, go here.
