Natalie Cole has discovered just how loyal her fans are after dozens offered to donate their kidneys within minutes of the singer announcing she was suffering renal failure.
The Grammy Award-winner last night told American chat show host Larry King that both her kidneys had failed after treatment for hepatitis C and that she faced a lifetime of dialysis.
While Cole, 59, the daughter of the late singing icon Nat King Cole, discussed how she had contracted hepatitis C through drug use and was now languishing on a long list of patients awaiting a donor kidney, dozens of emails flowed into Larry King Live.
